How It Works

From application to ongoing partnership.

Mentorship is a serious commitment for both sides. Here's how we work — clearly, with no hidden steps or surprises.

1

You apply

Tell us about your trading background, goals, and capital position. 10-minute application form.

2

We chat

30-minute discovery call to make sure we're a good fit. No pressure either way.

3

We onboard

Initial deep-dive into your existing trading plan, demo or live trades, and goals.

4

We work weekly

Weekly 1-on-1 calls, ongoing WhatsApp access, and quarterly progress reviews.

Mentorship Structure

What you actually get, week by week.

Every Week

1-hour 1-on-1 video session

Just you and your mentor. No group dynamic, no audience, no rushing. We work through what matters most for your week.

Trade journal review

You submit your trades the day before. We come prepared, having reviewed each one — your reasoning, execution, exit, and lessons.

WhatsApp access (12-hour response)

Mid-week questions, mid-trade decisions, market moves — message your mentor and get a real answer within 12 hours.

Performance tracking

We track your win rate, average R-multiple, drawdown, and equity curve over the entire engagement. Data over feelings.

Every Quarter

Strategy audit

A full review of your trading strategy: what's working, what's leaking, what to test next. Concrete adjustments, not vague advice.

Capital allocation review

Position size, risk per trade, account growth — what should change as you progress, and when to step on the gas.

Direction-setting

Is full-time trading still the goal? Should you specialise in synthetics or expand? Honest conversation about the next 90 days.

Honest assessment

If you're not making progress, we'll say so. If you should consider a different approach (or stopping), we'll say that too.

Investment

A serious investment in yourself.

Mentorship is the most personal — and most resource-intensive — way we work. Pricing reflects that.

Honest Fit Check

Is mentorship right for you?

Mentorship works for some traders and is wrong for others. Save us both time by being honest about which side you're on.

This is for you if

  • You've already attended our seminar or have equivalent foundations
  • You can dedicate 5+ hours a week to trading and reviewing trades
  • You have at least USD 500 trading capital (or are committed to building it)
  • You're willing to be completely honest about your trades and decisions
  • You can be on a video call once a week for 12 weeks
  • You're investing in skill development, not chasing instant returns
  • You take feedback well — even when it's about your own mistakes

This is NOT for you if

  • You're brand-new to trading and haven't done the foundations
  • You're looking for someone to trade for you (we don't manage funds)
  • You expect guaranteed returns — that's not how trading works, anywhere
  • You can't commit to weekly sessions for 12 consecutive weeks
  • You're emotionally fragile about losing trades — that's a deal-breaker
  • You can't afford the fee comfortably (don't borrow for mentorship)
  • You're hoping mentorship will change your mind about wanting to trade
FAQ

Common questions.

Will my mentor trade for me?
No. We don't manage funds, take deposits, or trade on anyone's behalf. We coach. You make every trading decision yourself — that's the only way you actually learn. If you're looking for someone to trade for you, you're looking for a fund manager, not a mentor.
How is this different from Advanced Training?
Advanced Training is a structured 8-week programme with a fixed curriculum, delivered to a group. Mentorship is open-ended (3-month renewable), 1-on-1, and built around YOUR specific trading — your strategy, your trades, your goals. Advanced Training is "what you should learn." Mentorship is "what YOU should do."
Can I do mentorship without doing Advanced Training first?
Yes — if you have equivalent trading experience and foundations. Many of our mentorship students come from elsewhere. The application call helps us assess whether you're ready, regardless of where the foundations came from.
What if I'm not making progress?
We'll say so directly. Mentorship is a partnership, not a money-printing machine. If you're not making progress, we work to understand why — sometimes it's the strategy, sometimes execution, sometimes psychology, sometimes you should stop trading altogether. Honesty is the whole point.
Can I extend or stop?
Yes. Mentorship is quarterly (3 months) and renewable by mutual agreement. We don't lock you in. If at any point you (or we) decide it's not working, we wrap up cleanly at the end of the quarter. No penalties.
Who exactly will be my mentor?
Either Thaps directly or one of our senior mentors. We match based on your goals, strategy interests, and personality fit — that's part of what the discovery call is for. You'll know your specific mentor before signing anything.

Ready for real accountability?
